Kimma has worked in various managerial and leadership roles for companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and TEKSystems (Client: Exxon Mobil). She flexes into in-house and consulting roles to support both IT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments.

Kimma is currently a doctoral candidate for the Doctor of Engineering degree in Cybersecurity Analytics from George Washington University. She is working on her praxis in Machine Learning, a subset of Artificial Intelligence.

Additionally, she holds numerous certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CompTia Security+, Network+, Server+ and more that further showcases her commitment to excellence.

This introductory to cybersecurity book describes key cybersecurity terms and concepts that everyone should know. The book provides basic knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely, protect privacy, finances and personally identifiable information.

This book explores how to detect cyber scams and avoid being a victim.  According to the FTC’s 2023 Consumer Sentinel Network Data Book, people lost a staggering $10 billion to scams in 2023, with 2.6 million fraud reports filed.
